Canadian Rockies Destinations

Banff
Nestled in the Bow River Valley, the resort town of Banff compasses 5,200 square miles of parkland and lies at the foot of Cascade Mountain. The area is home to Banff National Park with its glacial lakes, hot springs, forests and resident bears, cougars and goats. If you'd like a view from above, but aren't too keen on helicopters, the Banff Gondola provides a hawk's eye view of the valley and surrounding areas.

Lake Louise
This heavenly body of water reflects surrounding peaks and the Victoria Glacier in it's mirror-like waters. Both the lake and village of Lake Louise are within the borders of Banff National Park.

Calgary
Cowboys, rodeos and good times await visitors to Calgary. This city of roughly 800,000 relishes its cowboy past and present. A cosmopolitan city in every way, Calgary retains its spirit of friendliness and genuine hospitality. While you're there, take a trip up the 626-foot Calgary Tower where you can enjoy an awe-inspiring view while dining. The Calgary Zoo, Botanical Garden and Prehistoric Park are also fun attractions.

Kamloops
This former fur-trading post is located at the confluence of the north and south branches of the Thompson River. Following the river by train from Kamloops takes you east to the Cariboo Mountains. If you go west, you'll head toward Fraser River Canyon and Hell's gate, a formidable 600-foot deep gorge. When you visit Kamloops, your package includes the Two River Junction Dinner and Musical Revue. Experience Canadian hospitality while enjoying a delicious buffet dinner.

Vancouver
Every bit as cosmopolitan as Seattle with a distinctive European flair, Vancouver is the Canadian Jewel of Puget Sound. Sightseeing is a must and is included in almost every Canadian Rockies cruisetour package. There's the Lion Gate's bridge and the Vancouver Aquarium as a couple of highlights. If shopping is on the agenda, check out Robson Street, Granville Island, Yaletown. From the cobblestone streets of the Gastown district to Chinatown, Vancouver has a little something for everyone.

Whistler Cruisetours

Experience Vancouver and the magical town of Whistler on shorter 3 night cruisetour packages. Packages are offered before or after a 7 Night Inside Passage or Gulf of Alaska Glacier cruise.

Discover the enchantment of Whistler's alpine village and the surrounding mountains of British Columbia. A cruisetour to Whistler will give you luxury in the wilderness. As a matter of fact, every amenity you can imagine is entwined with beautiful landscape views. The area is known for invigorating activities such as mountain biking, trail hiking and, of course, shopping. There's also golf, horseback riding and fishing. And for more adventurous travelers, there's heli-hiking and summer skiing.

Stay in comfortable accommodations within walking distance of European-style cafes, unique boutiques and art galleries featuring local and famous artists. An inclusive gondola ride provides spectacular views all the way to the top of Whistler Mountain.

In Vancouver, most cruisetours include a City Tour takes you on a drive through the cobblestone streets of historic Gastown, bustling Chinatown and the 1000-acre Stanley Park, where you can take in the unparalled views of Prospect Point.
