Given that the resale of canceled space will likely result in a lost opportunity to sell other space, these fees are due regardless of resale. Fees as a result of cancellation cannot be applied to future bookings. Refunds will be applied to Guest's credit card or to your travel agent. Holland America Cruise Line can only be responsible for refunding amounts actually received by it. Holland America Cruise Line cruise contracts are non-transferable. Name changes and departure date changes are considered reservation cancellation / re-bookings and are subject to cancellation fees.

Change Fees

Changing your itinerary after reservations have been made can result in loss of advantages gained by early planning. To cover administrative costs, a minimum charge of $50 per person will be assessed if you request a change in your travel arrangements less than 95 days prior to commencement of travel. This doesn't apply to departure date changes which are subject to the cancellations charges listed above. Change charges are not assessed for stateroom upgrades or for the addition of services unless air reservations are altered and or travel documents must be reissued. Changes require the prior approval of Holland America Cruise Line and may not always be possible.

Absolutely NO Exceptions will be made on cancellation charges. We highly recommend the purchase of Travel Protection Insurance.

Updated May 2005. Cancellation Policies are subject to change by the cruise line. For the most current Holland America Cruise Line Cancellation and Refund Policies, please refer to Holland America Cruise Line's website or a Holland America Cruise Line brochure.
