Hurtigruten Cruise Line Cancellation and Refund Policy


Cancellation Updates:
Recent updates have been made to cancellation schedules and refund guidelines for various cruise lines. Hurtigruten Cruise Line's Book with Confidence Policy
NEW [Temporary] Policy: >Book a 2021 or 2022 cruise by April 30, 2021 and if you cancel it for any reason in the future, Hurtigruten promises that you'll receive your refund - including your deposit - within 14 days. A small cancellation fee per passenger is required to process the transaction. Please see the Terms and Conditions for more information.

Sailing Window: Sailings through 2022
Product Eligibility: Bookings made by February 28, 2021

You or anyone in the booking have/has the right to cancel the booking at any time. All cancellations must be done in writing by the person who has made the booking. The cancellation is the date that Hurtigruten receives the cancellation request. There is no refund on bookings which cost less than $1,340.

Cancellation fees are calculated according to the following schedule for all other bookings:

Standard Cancellation

Days Prior to Departure Cancellation Charge Per Guest
Booking - 91 Days Administrative Fees of $100 per person
90 - 61 Days 20% of total fare
60 - 42 Days 30% of total fare
41 - 28 Days 60% of total fare
27 - 14 Days 90% of total fare
13 - 0 Days No refund

Cancellation charges are calculated based on total fares paid to Hurtigruten for all trip components. No refund will be made for passengers who do not show up for the cruise or who do not complete their cruise. Cancellation charges will apply notwithstanding that the Company is able to rebook the cabin in question. The passenger must submit a claim for refund, in writing, within 20 days of the actual termination date of the voyage in question, failing which the refund claim shall be barred.
