Alaska Packing List for Men

Gentlemen, to better help you prepare for your Alaska cruise vacation, here are some guidelines on what to pack. Keep in mind that although Alaska is a more "relaxed" destination, your own taste, interests and activities will determine what you bring. You will need three types of clothing: casual shipboard attire or day wear, comfortable apparel for sightseeing and evening wear.



Men's Toiletries

____ Shaving Kit / Shower Bag
____ Toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss, mouthwash
____ Razor and shaving cream (or electric razor and supplies)
____ Aftershave and Cologne
____ Shampoo or soap (cruise lines supply both, unless you have a favorite)
____ Brush / Comb / Hair gel
____ Deodorant
____ Nail clippers and file (be sure to pack in checked luggage)
____ Nose hair trimmers and tweezers (be sure to pack in checked luggage)
____ Pajamas / Robe (some ships have robes)
Note: Today's modern cruise ships and hotels have hair dryers in the stateroom

Daytime and Casual Wear

____ Socks - exercise, walking, evening wear

____ Shorts - Alaska can be 75 or more degrees some days

Evening Wear

Note: On a 7-Night Alaska Cruise, there are typically three casual nights (golf shirts/button down & slacks); two "sportjacket" nights; and two "formal nights" (dark suit or tuxedo). No shorts or jeans at dinner.
